Just thought I'd let everyone know about the next tea dance I'm hosting along with 'All the tea and China' at the Military and Naval club in Southend. Ticket prices include dancing from A2 Jive as well as all the tea and cakes you can eat from our authentic tea room. You will also have the opportunity to have your hair styled from the Hair Aid Shelter. Tickets are £15 and available in advance from me at acooper78@btinternet.com. Interested in having a stall?

The next Leigh-on-Sea Vintage and Handmade fair is on the 17th September.  Tables are £35 and if you would like more information please message me through my website or facebook page.  Last Saturday's one was lots of fun with about 60 stalls and quite a good foot fall due to lots of postering/leafleting and a fab article in the Evening Echo on Friday.

Vintage and Handmade Fairs 2011

Now taking bookings for June's fair as well as the other dates this year.  Over 70 stalls of vintage clothing, accessories and jewellery as well as many vintage inspired handicrafts.  Other stalls include vintage homewares, creative textiles, childrens toys and clothing, homemade cakes, upcycled furniture, knitting, photography and many other creative and original handicrafts. We also have the heavenly tea room run by 'All the tea and China' serving tasty treats all day creating the perfect antidote to a busy day shopping.  Entry is free of charge so pop along and support this popular and ever growing community event.

1940's tea dance 6th March

The first tea dance of 2011 at Southend Military and Naval Club will be held on the 6th March.  Usual team comprising of  'A2 Jive' providing all the dance and entertainment and the scrummy 'All the Tea and China' serving a wide selection of cakes and sandwiches.  Of course there is a bar for those who need something a bit stronger before they can start to move . .
